24B Station Master Pro™

Tempo continues its excellence in irrigation system troubleshooting with the introduction of the new Model 24B Station Master Pro. The upgraded Station Master Pro is a portable, battery-operated irrigation system diagnostic tester combining solenoid activation and wire identification. The easy-to-understand LEDs notify the technician if sufficient voltage is being supplied by the controller and the condition of the solenoid. The solenoid activation mode is used to activate valve solenoids either from the controller or at the valve, along with testing continuity of the solenoids. In chatter mode the Station Master Pro will turn the solenoid off and on about once per second to aid in locating the valve by ear. In addition, the Station Master has the added functionality of providing tone generation to identify wires which can be traced with any Tempo 200 Series inductive amplifier. The Model 24B operates on two 9 volt alkaline batteries and can safely hold open a working solenoid for hours. 722 Steel Cable and Wire Rope Cutter

The new Greenlee 722 cutter is designed specifically to cut small diameter steel wire and wire rope, including aircraft cable. The blades are made from forged steel and are hardened specifically to cut steel. The 722 is less than 8" (200 mm) long and it weighs only ¾ lb. Glo Stix and Fish Stix

Greenlee’s Glo Stix are manufactured from luminescent 3/16" or 5/32" diameter fiberglass rods that glow in the dark. The Glo Stix make installation of electrical, voice, data, video, and security wires easier in dark spaces such as above ceilings, below subfloors, and inside walls. The 3/16" and 5/32" diameter are more flexible for going around corners in tight places. Greenlee’s Fish Stix are manufactured from green 1/4" diameter fiberglass rods. The 1/4" diameter Fish Stix are relatively stiff to span longer unsupported distances. All of the rods (except the 540-6) have sturdy steel threaded connectors on each end. The threads are the same on all rods, so different diameter rod sections can be combined easily for specific situations. New Packages for 6001 and 640 Cable Pullers

459 Light Base Sheave

Pulling wires into parking lot light bases can be difficult and tiring. It often requires one person to stand on the light base and pull up on the pulling rope and another person to guide the wires into the conduit on the feeding end. If you want to make this task faster and easier, the 459 may be the product you need. The 459 attaches to light bases using the same mounting bolts that are used for the light pole. Simply remove the nuts from three of the pole mounting bolts, set the 459 over the bolts and then reinstall the nuts. The 459 has mounting slots so it will work with bolt circles from 7.8" (198 mm) diameter through 14.8" (376 mm) diameter. The 459 improves the pulling operation on both the pulling and feeding ends. On the pulling end, the pulling rope goes over the sheave so a person standing on the ground can pull the rope horizontally. On the feeding end, the 459 guides the wires directly over the center of the bolt square into the conduit, usually eliminating the need for a person. [Press Release]
