Greenlee to Feature Latest Cable Termination Tools at The Utility Expo

In-booth tool demos, product giveaways and more planned for utility infrastructure event

ROCKFORD, Ill. (October 2, 2025) – Greenlee^®, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, will be exhibiting at The Utility Expo from October 7-9 in Louisville, KY. At this leading utility infrastructure event in North America, the company will feature its latest utility tools and provide in-booth demonstrations. Among the new offerings is the industry-first Remote Pruner, designed to improve safety and enhance speed when trimming branches up to 2 inches in diameter.

New Greenlee tools featured in booth #S3215:

• Remote Pruner - The 18V battery-powered Remote Pruner cuts branches up to 2 inches in diameter with ease. Use it in-hand while on the ground or attach it to a universal hot stick for remote operation in a bucket truck. With a knurled blade for secure grip on an isolated branch, automatic retraction and a fixed blade to reduce jams, it delivers clean, accurate cuts, up to 80 per charge.

• GX10 Tugger™ - The Greenlee GX10 Tugger delivers up to 2X the pulling speed and a higher continuous pull rating than legacy tuggers. Its force indicator helps operators maximize performance, while the industry-leading customized motor delivers 10,000 pounds of pulling force to increase productivity and reduce the risk of strain. Designed for compatibility with existing Greenlee products and accessories, the GX10 provides an easy upgrade with minimal retraining.

• High Performance Pulling Rope – Greenlee’s newest rope offers 40,000 lbs. of strength, while being 60% lighter than traditional double braided rope for improved mobility and versatility. Its new end-of-pull indicator enhances user confidence, and ultra-low stretch, UV resistance, and minimal water absorption ensure durability. Each rope comes with dual factory-installed pulling eyes and is offered in 300’, 600’, and 1200’ spool lengths.

In addition, attendees can also experience the latest in battery cutters and crimpers, including the ESG45LX and ESG25LX Gator Hard Metal Cutters and EK1550SLX 15-Ton Crimper. Each features the latest in ergonomic design to minimize user fatigue and maximize efficiency.
