This logo is used to show our environmentally friendly policies in general, and with regard to WEEE & RoHS in particular.

All products subjected to WEEE will be marked with the wheelie bin (WEEE annex IV resp. EN 50419). This is to show that this product should be recycled and not disposed of as general waste. Klauke and Dr. Peters tools have a date code consisting of 2 letters which can be found either on the hydraulic cylinder or on the minis underneath the battery. The key to the code can be found here: Date Code Greenlee and Tempo have use a wheelie bin with a bar underneath which implies that this unit was sold after August 13, 2005.

The "circle W" is intended as a short-term aid to our warehouse staff to differentiate which product is WEEE compliant as we transition through the 13 August 2005 deadline.

All products which are already compliant with the RoHS guideline 2002/95/EC will be marked with this decal.

All components (e.g. PCB’s) which are lead free and can be used in lead free solder processes are marked with this symbol either on the product or on the packaging.
