Greenlee® to Preview New Tugger at NECA 2024
ROCKFORD, Ill. (September 17, 2024) – Greenlee®, part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, announced its Premier Partner sponsorship and participation at the 2024 National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Convention and Trade Show, Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, in San Diego. The Greenlee booth will feature hands-on demos of the brand’s latest tools, including their newest tugger that delivers up to double the pulling speed and a higher continuous pull rating than legacy tuggers.
“As a Premier Partner for many years, we’ve seen first-hand how the NECA trade show brings electrical contracting professionals together to learn and network. We can’t think of a better place to introduce our newest tugger, the latest in our legacy of Greenlee tuggers that have been in production since the 1930’s,” said Jae Lee, director of product management, pipe and electrical, Greenlee for Emerson. “We are looking forward to having attendees be the first to experience the new tool and provide their feedback. It is the insight gained from professionals at events like the NECA trade show that drives our product development team to continue creating new tools to make electrical work safer and easier.”
The GX10 Tugger™ features an industry-leading customized motor that delivers 10,000 pounds of pulling force to increase productivity and reduce the risk of injury and strain. The dual-speed motor provides durability at a steady pull speed with continuous operation at 0 pounds to 6,500 pounds; 5 minutes on/5 minutes off at 6,500 pounds to 9,000 pounds; and momentary operation at 9,000 pounds to 10,000 pounds.
